CHERTSEY
BOATS, BRIDGES, BOILERS ... IF IT'S GOT RIVETS, I'M RIVETTED
... feminist, atheist, autistic academic and historic narrowboater ...
Likes snooker, beer, tea, rivets and solitude, and is strangely fascinated by the cinema organ.
And there might be something about railways.

Ghosts of Bath past
Bath room
The icing on the cake (or the sugar on the Bath bun)
Towpath Bath
Refreshing Bath
No strings
Back in harness
Splicing is not like riding a bike
And the boat is still there!
The deepest lock that I won't have been through by...
Bath water
Stumbling upon stations
Possibly the most gorgeous station I've ever seen
Like Saltaire, but more of it.
And one more I found down the back of the sofa
Two more for the album
'It's how you knew you were home'
Restorative thoughts

What's been lost?
Welcome to the 100th post of 2019
1970
A canal I hadn't heard of
For nearly a quarter of my life ...
Sheffield's slightly mislaid river
The poignant ephemerality of dereliction
Down the river to Rotherham
A local boat for local people
Is it a tram? Is it a train? No! It's ...
