Local colour

To be honest, it would probably be a lot worse without the Friends of the Blue Loop's regular Wednesday litter picks.

Moving on from the almost organic forms of the Victorian works buildings, we come to a couple of more modern bridges, decorated in a more contemproary fashion, shall we say...
Now this, I'm pretty sure is the Supertram Bridge:
 But it's the one you can see in the distance behind it that bears this sign:
And that one is, I believe, the 'new cycle bridge' (p. 38), built around the same time in the early nineties. There is a photo of it on page 38 looking very new - as does the towpath, and the trees.
No Supertram yet, it would appear.
