    Though I never got the chance to thank him in person, I will always be grateful for his work on Enceladus - especially the 1200 rivets! I'll be very proud to steer her in his memory.

    Lovely to meet all three of you on Saturday - hope to see you again, hopefully boating!

    Hi Sarah, sad news to read another canal character has died. He does leave more than a ripple to mark his time which is a lasting legacy to a real canal man .
