And to prove it

I'm now writing this crouched on the grass in the shade of one of the Admiral Nelson's outside tables. The sun's still beating down and everything is idyllic. Here's a picture of us arrriving yesterday.

  2. Very Well done Sarah and Jim, great to see you've made it to Braunston and all your hard work has paid off. Unfortunately we won't be able to make it this year, but hopefully we will bump into you somewhere on the cut in the near future (probably in a bridgehole).

    Cheers, Brian

  3. when james says 9.30 he means 10.30, there's a limit to how fast i'm prepared to drive, even when there's a big woolwich at the end of it!

  6. Chertsey looks wonderful! You and Jim have done an outstanding job in a very short time. Bill and I are very much looking forward to the "guided tour" when we return to England in the autumn. I've been overwhelmed with emotion in following your trip to Braunston - you had me teary-eyed a couple of times. All the best from Michelle and Bill.

  7. Hi Sarah

We were at Braunston yesterday and saw Chertsey in the parade. She looks fantastic, especially considering the short time you've had. You should be very proud.

I was going to give you and the Ducks a wave from the bridge as you went past, but you probably would have wondered who that strange woman flailing around was, and I would have looked a bit silly!!
