CHERTSEY

BOATS, BRIDGES, BOILERS ... IF IT'S GOT RIVETS, I'M RIVETTED
... feminist, atheist, autistic academic and historic narrowboater ...
Likes snooker, beer, tea, rivets and solitude, and is strangely fascinated by the cinema organ.
And there might be something about railways.

Transformation

I've just taken some really wonky pictures of Chertsey's transformed hold (well, the part I've done so far) before we put the topcloths on and it goes all dark in there.

  1. Wonderful, just wonderful.
Glamping, 1950's style (with a few exceptions).

Oh yes. Its very dark in Fulbourne under the cloths. I'm too much of a traditionalist to want to put opening flaps in the cloths, but replacing the middle topcloth with a white plastic tarpaulin makes a world of difference!
