I have spent many years writing minutes too, and now part of my IWA job is to provide the secretariat for its Navigation Committee. Writing notes longhand and typing them up is my preferred method too. But i use a disposable pen, despite having used a refillable fountain pen throughout high school and university (my preferred colour was green and can still recall the distinct smell). Maybe i should return to it, although i fear that bottles of ink with a toddler around would be asking for trouble!
