I know Nick on Aldgate has problems with Kat going off and after listening to others with the same issues and having seen cats floating in the canal we took the decision to only let Marmite off the boat with a harness and lead on, which she is completely happy with. But it does depend on the nature of the cat as madcat says. I wish you luck with your decision. Have enjoyed reading about the boat of late. Keep up the great work and look forward to see you with them both xxxxJo Lodgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13598518708069192353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5087283544997030082.post-40605027985867987002011-12-01T13:04:51.165+00:002011-12-01T13:04:51.165+00:00it truly does depend on the nature of the cat as t...it truly does depend on the nature of the cat as to wether they settle or not.A lazy can't be bothered to go out cat might be more content than an independant outdoor moggy,it's the wandering off and getting lost that would worry me.madcatnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5087283544997030082.post-77750139515768921522011-11-30T08:10:42.180+00:002011-11-30T08:10:42.180+00:00Hi Sarah, We have 2 cats & CC, Soona is a stay...Hi Sarah, We have 2 cats & CC, Soona is a stay at home & we have no worries with her but Sid likes to be out & about when we are moored up. We invested in a loc8tor from amazon & it's brilliant. When we want him in (we don't leave him out at night) we use it to find him & we have found that although he may be hidden in a hedge bottom he is more often than not, not very far away from the boat. Someone said to me when we first moved aboard that the cat will regard the boat as home no matter were it is & we've found this to be the case, good luck!Julia & Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05295201402859542559noreply@blogger.com
